After the adventure of a safari, there’s nothing better than to relax in paradise, This is a tour to the best of the Northern Parks of Tanzania and the fine white sand of Zanzibar. This is a very special tour for families holiday as well as for couples on a honeymoon who want to experience safaris to the Northern parks of Tanzania before flying to the beautiful spice island of Zanzibar for the beach leisure and relaxation after days of adventuers with Redunca safaris. 

Our tour will start with Tarangire national park which is well known as [Elephants Paradise], then after you proceed to Lake Manyara national park[ Home of trees climbing lions] and visiting Ngorongoro Crater which is considered one of the natural wonders of the World then we conclude our adventure with Serengeti National park which is the home of the Great Migration and may very well be one of the last true natural wonders on planet earth.

Routine

Safari Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive in Tanzania.

You will be picked up from the airport by our representative and taken to your accommodation in Arusha, where you will spend the night, relax, and prepare in anticipation of the adventures to come.

Day 2

Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast we drive with parked lunch hamper to Tarangire National Park, Tarangire is famous for its diverse landscape with nine different vegetation zones. The park is particularly known for the abundance of Ancient Baobab trees (the largest trees in the continent) which fill the landscape and dwarf the animals next to them.

The river of the park is full of wildlife ranging from a large variety of birds to lions, leopards, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes and, of course, elephants. In fact, the park has the largest concentration of elephants in the whole country and provides unique chances to observe the interaction between elephant families.

The lunch area is fascinating, boasting an observatory with amazing views to the river and wildlife (with good chances of seeing a hunt while having your picnic) late Afternoon drive back to the lodge for sundowners and to enjoy the views over the Tarangire river & Acacia woodlands forest while recounting tales of the day adventure.

Day 3

Tarangire – Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast at the lodge, we drive with our parked lunch humper to Lake Manyara National Park. The park covers 330 sq. km, 70% of which is occupied by the lake. The varied ecosystem consists of ground water forests, acacia woodland and open grassland along the lake shore and sustains a wealth of wildlife, including -pink flamingoes, baboons, elephant,Giraffes and buffalos.

The park is famous for the elusive tree-climbing lions that inhabit the woodland between the lake and the rift valley. Late afternoon proceeds to the lodge for sundowners and to enjoy the views over the valley while recounting tales of the day adventure.

Day 4

Ngorongoro Crater – Serengeti

After early breakfast at the lodge, we depart for a morning game drive inside the Ngorongoro Crater with picnic lunch Humper, as very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 ft. high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, and various species of birds.

The Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA) is an extensive highland area along the eastern arm of the Rift Valley, with the world-renowned Ngorongoro Crater as its focal point, after lunch in the Ngorongoro crater we drive to the Serengeti for dinner and overnight.

Day 5

Serengeti National Park

After Breakfast we go for a full day game drive with our lunch Humper. Chances are that you have dreamt of Africa, and when you did, you probably dreamt about the Serengeti. Countless wildlife movies have been recorded in the Serengeti, and with good reason: this is the home of the Great Migration and may very well be one of the last true natural wonders on planet earth.

Serengeti National Park is a World Heritage Site teeming with wildlife: over 2 million ungulates, 4000 lions, 1000 leopard, 550 cheetahs and some 500 bird species inhabit an area close to 15,000 square kilometers in size. Join us on a safari and explore the endless Serengeti plains dotted with trees and kopjes from which majestic lions control their kingdom; gaze upon the Great Migration in awe or find an elusive leopard in a riverine forest.

Or perhaps see everything from a bird’s eye view and soar over the plains at sunrise during a hot air balloon safari. the sound of lions roaring at night is complimentary. during the evening drive to the camp for sundowners and to enjoy the views over the Serengeti plains while recounting tales of the day adventure.

Day 6

Serengeti National Park

After the breakfast enjoy the Full day game drive in the Serengeti National Park. We are completely flexible with your preferences and this day will be organized according to your wishes. On every day of the safari, your guide will discuss with you the best timings for you, including the game drives and the wake-up time.

For example, on this day, you could do a morning game drive, return to the camp for lunch and relaxation and finish with an afternoon game drive, or you could do a full day game drive with picnic lunch, during the evening drive to the camp for sundowners and to enjoy the views over the Serengeti plains while recounting tales of the day adventure.

Day 7

Fly From Serengeti To Zanzibar

After breakfast enjoy your morning game drive on the way to Seronera airstrip for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, you will be met and greeted by your guide and then transfer to the hotel in Stone Town for a dinner and overnight.

Day 8

Stone Town Tour & Spice Tour

After your breakfast at the hotel, your guide will take you to Stone Town for a tour & spice tour in the afternoon, he will drive you to Royal Zanzibar beach Beach Resort [Nungwi]

This is a walking tour that takes you through fabled Stone Town, where history appears to stand still. With visits to the House of Wonders, the former slave market for East African Slave trade, and the Arab Fort among st others, it is a fascinating look at the essence of Zanzibar. The architectural style of Stone town buildings is a unique mixture of various influences and culture. You will see Zanzibar bustling market, winding alleyways, ornately carved and studded doors, two cathedrals and countless mosques!

Stone Town has some excellent gifts shops with plenty of souvenirs and handicrafts to choose from. A guided walk through this colorful and alternating city with tour knowledgeable tour guides, who knows not only funny of Stone town, but also cruel stories to tell about life of the old times in Stone town. Stone town tour is a walking tour and takes almost 3 hrs. of walking in the narrow streets.

We have developed a special Spice Tour with in-depth information not only about spices, but also organically grown herbs and detailed descriptions about their uses in traditional dishes, as cures for ailments and even for dyeing traditional ceremonial outfits for weddings and festivals. After the activities drive to your Beach resort.

Day 9

Zanzibar Beach Holiday

After breakfast at the hotel, you may go to the beach for relaxation, Walking Around the Beach or an option for Snorkeling tour in Mnemba Atoll Marine Reserve.

Day 10

Zanzibar Beach Holiday

After breakfast at the Hotel you may go to the beach for relaxation or an option for Johozani Forest tour, This forest is one of the last remaining sanctuaries in the world of the red colobus monkey.

The forest is 2,512 hectares (6,207 acres) in size and was declared a nature reserve in the 1960’s, A walk through this impressive flora and fauna is one of the highlights Zanzibar has to offer. At Jozani, you will also visit the Mangrove swamp and walk around the Mangrove forest.

Day 11

Zanzibar Beach Holiday

After breakfast at the Hotel you may go to the beach for relaxation or an option for Prison Island Boat trip, Earning its name as a former prison for slaves and a quarantine station for Zanzibar and the mainland, nowadays the island gives you the chance to escape for some peace and quiet.

The island lies just off the Old Stone Town, it is also a home to giant land tortoises that were imported from Seychelles in the late 19th century. Now it is more commonly known as a home of Zanzibar’s Giant Aldabran Tortoise colony, some of which are over a hundred years old! This endangered species came to Zanzibar as a gift from the government of the Seychelles.

Once on the island, you have the opportunity to feed and pet the tortoises, if you have time you may also like to take a stroll through the forested interior where you will see a wide variety of birds, colorful peacocks, bats, and beautiful butterflies. Keep your eyes peeled too for the shy and elusive Duikers an unusual tiny antelope species.

Day 12

Zanzibar – Departure

After breakfast at the hotel, depending on your flight schedule, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back home.
